As the coffee beans are in contact with the air, they are changing all the time, even the air pressure, temperature and humidity will affect the extraction, so the grinder should be adjusted again every 5 hours.
When the coffee beans enter the grinder, the blades in the grinder will crush the coffee beans into powder. The smaller the distance between the blades, the smaller the coffee beans will be ground into smaller particles. The smaller the particles are, the more compact they will be, and the water flow will be more difficult to pass through, thus greatly extending the extraction time.
